National Philanthropy Day Awards

November 18, 2016

Kravis Center for the Performing Arts | West Palm Beach, FL

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce Stephanie Langlais - Scripps Research Institute and Carl Minardo - AIM Holographics, as our 2016 National Philanthropy Day Co-chairs.  This year, the National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon will celebrate its 31st year of honoring Palm Beach County men and women who are "changing the world with a giving heart.

This year, the National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon will celebrate its 31st year of honoring Palm Beach County individuals, corporations, and foundations who are demonstrating that “philanthropy is timeless”. It takes only takes one person to make a lasting mark, one individual sharing their time, talent and resources to transform an idea into someone's positive future.

The luncheon will be held on November 18th at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and is attended by more than 300 prominent community leaders, philanthropists and business professionals. As this year's co-chair of the National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon for Palm Beach County, I am asking if you will consider supporting the celebration.  As a sponsor of the event, you will join a circle of exceptionally community-minded individuals and businesses making a difference.

We hope you will consider joining us.  Please review the sponsor opportunities and consider being part of this extraordinary event. Together we will change the world with our timeless efforts.

National Philanthropy Day is a celebration of philanthropy - giving, volunteering and charitable engagement - that highlights the accomplishments, large and small, that philanthropy, and all those involved in the philanthropic process, makes to our society and our world.

National Philanthropy Day® is both an official day and a grassroots movement. Every year, since 1986 when President Ronald Reagan first proclaimed November 15th as National Philanthropy Day®, communities across the globe have celebrated by hosting events to recognize activities of donors, volunteers, foundations, leaders, corporations, and others engaged in philanthropy.
