Five Scholarships Available for Planet Philanthropy 2010

The Association of Fundraising Professionals Palm Beach County Chapter is now accepting applications for the Planet Philanthropy Conference on June 20-22, 2010, at the Boca Raton Resort and Club, Boca Raton, Florida. The Conference is an information-packed and inspirational program, featuring distinguished speakers from Florida and beyond. Whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned veteran, this is an opportunity to meet and learn from leading fundraisers and enhance your profession. The Scholarship includes Early Bird Registration fee of $275.

Applicants must be a member of AFP Palm Beach County
Must be responsible for fundraising in a 501(c)(3) organization. Strong consideration will be given to applicants who devote 50% or more of their time to fundraising.
Must be willing to volunteer at the Conference for two (2) hours
Strong consideration is given to those applicants who have not attended a Planet Philanthropy Conference in the past
Only two persons per organization may qualify for a scholarship

All applications must be received by May 3, 2010.

Please submit the following:

- Completed application form (2010 Planet Philanthropy Conference.pdf)

- A copy of your resume

- A brief statement of need (no more than one page)

- A copy of your organization’s 501(c)(3)
