West Palm Beach, FL (September 22, 2010) – The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Palm Beach County Chapter (AFPPBC) is pleased to announce the 2010 National Philanthropy Day award recipients; Mr. Patrick Park for Outstanding Philanthropist nominated by the Cleveland Clinic and the American Heart Association, Wycliffe Charities Foundation for Outstanding Philanthropic Private Foundation nominated by Hospice of Palm Beach County, The Breakers Palm Beach for Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation nominated by Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County, Inc., Jane Mitchell for Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser nominated by the Kravis Center, and Kelly Revocable Trust / Marjorie and Pop Kelly for Outstanding Planned Giving/Legacy Honoree nominated by Palm Beach State College.
Catch island fever with the Palm Beach County Chapter of AFP as we kick-off the 2010-2011 season at our Annual Members’ Social! Members and their guest will gather at The Omphoy Ocean Resort on Tuesday, September 28 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.
The Palm Beach County Chapter will be one of the first AFP chapters in the nation to offer this course, on Monday, Sept. 27 and Tuesday, Sept. 28 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach.
