  • AFP Palm Beach County is one of the most dynamic chapters of AFP – a chapter as incredibly diverse as our Palm Beach County area itself.

Early on in your career you can seek out a mentor, build a strong foundation of knowledge about ethical and effective fundraising, and plug into the nonprofit world with publications targeted to fundraisers.
  • AFP offers you a chance to network and attend meetings, educational programs, and social events. A membership directory gives you access to all AFP Members.
  • AFP's International Conference is held each spring and brings more than 4,000 fundraising professionals together to discuss, teach, and learn about new development issues. It offers more than 150 educational sessions designed to serve the development needs of participants from entry level to highly experienced. The Conference exhibit hall features over 300 vendors.
  • The AFP Web/Audioconferences are a series of 90-minute programs on topics most requested from the AFP Fundraising Resource Center.  Free to our members.
  • AFP First Course in Fundraising teaches the basic skills that new professionals need. Materials include on-the-job references for such issues as ethics, case statements, annual giving, major gifts, and development office management.
  • AFP CFRE Review Course, intended for professionals with five years of experience, presents the mechanics of a complete fundraising program, including planning, execution, and evaluation. The Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE) credential is designed for senior-level fundraising executives.
